What is AndBible?

AndBible (AndBible.org) is a free, open-source Bible app for Android. ReflectTheSON gets no commissions from AndBible, but promotes the app because it aligns with ReflectTheSON's mission: to make the Bible available worldwide, especially in nations that declare the Bible illegal.

Since AndBible is open-source, there are no hidden trackers that could endanger people in persecuted countries. Also, the app offers a discrete version that looks and behaves like a calculator and won't reveal that it's a Bible until a specific number is entered on the keypad.

How can I use AndBible and ReflectTheSON together?

Here is a simple how-to guide to get you started:

1. Download the desired Crosswire SWORD files from ReflectTheSON.
2. Install AndBible from Google Play, Amazon Appstore, F-Droid, or directly from GitHub. To install the discrete calculator version, you must use GitHub, or download it here from ReflectTheSON (may be out of date).
3. Open the app.
4. Discrete calculator version only: Enter "1234", then press "=" to unlock the app. You can change the password later by going to Application preferences → Calculator PIN.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. They won't be given here in case the app changes, but it should involve tapping "Load documents from files" and selecting the files you downloaded from ReflectTheSON. (To add more later, try going to Choose Document → hamburger menu in upper right corner → Load Documents from Files.)
